( الرجل الذي سرق دبا )

مغرم بأكل السمك، إنه يستطيع أن يأكله كل يوم دون أن يعتريه السأم.

لكن ارتفاع الأسعار يكاد يحرمه من وجبته اللذيذة؛ لذلك قرر أن يصطاد، وعندما اكتشف أن الطعام المفضل للأسماك الديدان؛ تقيأ كل ما في جوفه من هذا الشغف.

Liberation

Being fond of having fish, he could eat this favorite dish on a daily basis without getting bothered and shrugged. But, with the rise in prices, by which he got destitute and deprived of his delicious meal, therefore he decided to go hunting by himself. On disclosing the truth behind his unique plate, he found out the preferable food  for fish in form of worms—the reason why he vomited and let out all what passed through his guts out of his exaggerated adventurous passion.

الديليفري

 

أحكمَ العُقدة حول العلبة، وقال :

-  هؤلاء الأثرياء لن يكتشفوا أنني أكلت قطعة، وبصقت على الباقي.

عندما فُتِحَ الباب؛ أبدت المرأة مفاتنها؛ من هول المفاجأة تسمَّر في مكانه؛ فجذبته للداخل؛ وأغلقت الباب.

والعشماوي يحكم عقدة الحبل حول رقبته ؛ أخذ يُقسم أنه لم يقتل زوج المرأة، إنه حتى لا يستطيع ذبح دجاجة.

في الليلة التالية؛ وقفت المرأة تفك رابطة العنق الحمراء من حول رقبة زميله الوسيم، الذي قال لها :

 - الله يسامحه، كان يبصق على النعمة؛ اليوم كان الجميع يبصقون عليه.

On delivery

He tightened the knot of container box and said: ‘those are for the wealthy who were unable to find out I had eaten up a piece and spit on the other ingredients’. On opening the door, the lady revealed her outrageous female alluring appeal, the new comer was pinned out of the impulse to be pulled inside then closed the door back, while the executioner tightly winding the death rope around his neck in return; he had sworn in that he couldn't commit such a crime of murdering the lady’s husband since the undeniable fact that he couldn't slaughter a hen. The next nightfall, that lady stood at the door seducing another by untying his red bowtie from a new handsome colleague of the former who confirmed that his sinful friend ‘May God Forbade and forgive him’ as he was indicted of spitting on the divine subsistence —today, all of them had spitten on him instead

الفأس

في الوقت الذي حملت فيه الفأس لأحرث الأرض، كان أخي  يحمل فأسه ليهشِّمَ به رأس أخينا الثالث!

أخي القاتل صدَّق ما قاله له دجال قريتنا،  لكنني أنا وأخي القتيل كنا قد رفضنا أن نجرِّف الأرض، للبحث عن هذه الآثار المزعومة.

The Axle 

The time I lifted up that ax to plough the farmland, my brother was levering am axle to destroy and smash down the third sibling’s head as the brotherly murderer believed in all what the village quack told him. However, my deceased brother and I totally refused to eradicate and deforest the land — in search of the so-called statues today!

أمي

أخبرَتني مرارًا أن العِقد الذي تلبسه، والذي ورثته عن أمها هو أعز ما تملك في الحياة، وأنها لن تفرِّط فيه أبدا.

اليوم - عند الصائغ - رأيتها تتنازل عنه طواعية في مقابل مبلغ من المال، دفعته للجراح الذي سيجري لي العملية!

ورغم أن العملية فشلت؛ وخسرت نور عينيَّ، إلا أنها لم تذكر العقد مرة أخرى، بل كنت أسمعها تتضرع إلى الله سبحانه وتعالى قائلة :

-  يا رب لو تأخذ عينيَّ، وتعطيهما لابني لكي يرى بهما!

 

 

My mother

She told me that necklace she had put on as inherited from her mom, was the most precious in her lifetime. Respectively, she won't dispense with it forever, while, today I had seen her at the jewelley’s shop she was voluntarily giving up on it in return for a sum of money to expend for the surgeon, who was about to perform surgical operation for me. Despite the failure of the surgery and my sight loss, she couldn't remember the necklace again, but subjugated to the will of the Almighty Lord, Glory be to Him, saying : O ya Allah, please take out my sight blessing and grant for my child both eyes in the hope for seeing once again’.

عُرف الديك

 

في الصباح، قالت لزوجها وهو يُمشط شعره؛ وينثر بعض العطر على ملابسه :

- ثلاث بيضات كل يوم ما عادت تكفي لإفطار الصغار؛ نحتاج إلى ديك لتمتلئ حظيرتنا بالأفراخ التي ستمنحنا بيضا أكثر عندما تكبر.

هزَّ رأسه موافقا، وهو يقول :

- كلامك صحيح؛ اليوم سأشتريه.

في المساء، ذبحت الدجاجات؛ وطلبت منه أن يحلق شعر رأسه الذي يبدو مثل عُرف الديك.

 

The Cockscomb

 In the morning, she told her husband on combing his hair and dredging fragrance over garment: ‘three legs per day weren't enough to feed the children, we need a cock to fill the bar with hens that might suffice us with eggs when they grew’, so he nodded his head to show approval saying : ‘Absolutely true, today I will do this’. When night fell that day, all hens were slaughtered and she advised him to have his hair cut since it resembled the cockscomb.

كاك   ..   كاك

 

أصيبت القرية بشلل ٍ, بعدما انتشر فيها مرض ٌعضال ٌ ٌ! أقعد من فيها من الرجال و النساء عن العمل حتى كادوا  يموتون  جوعا ً, طبيبُ الوحدة المحلية رحل َ بعد أن عجز عن حل المشكلة ! وبعد طول انتظار فوجئت القرية بالقادم الجديد , إنه ُ طبيبة بيطرية !! نالت أعلى الشهادات العلمية في علاج أمراض الدواجن والطيور , فما كان منهم جميعا إلا أن قالوا ً : ـ كاك .. كاك !!

 

Quack… Quack!

 

All the villagers were paralyzed, after the spread of the traumatic plague that seated all men and women and laid them off, those jobless were susceptible to dying of hunger, as the localized practitioner doctor departed after his failure to find the healing cure and solve the dilemma. After a long wait, the village was astounded by seeing the new visitor who was ‘the female vet’, she had the highest university degrees at curing poultry and birds, they all replied on congregational call: quack quack….!

الصعلوك .. والمعلمة

     لا مال يدفعه ، ولا ظهرا ً ينفعه ! لذلك احتشدوا يضربونه ، ثم علّقوا في رقبته ِ حبلا ، و جرّوه مثل الذبيحة !

     فجأة انشق الزحام ُ عنها ، نزعت الحبل َ عن عنقه ِ ، ومَسحت وجهه الملطّخ بالدم بأكمامها !

     كان يحلم بموضع قدم ٍ في السوق ، فإذا به ِ يمتلك كل قدم ٍ في قلبها !

The Midget.. The female teacher

No use for money, nor use for backbone!, so they thronged and hit him, then hang a rope round his neck to be pulled like a massacred sacrifice, out of the blue she pelted through the mob and put away that fetter and tapped on his face stained by blood by her sleeves, he had a dream to have a firmly footed share in the market, but now he had every feet rails at her heart of love.

استغاثة

في الشرفة أخذ يصرخ مستغيثا ؛ فلم يأبه له أحد، بل حسبه البعض طفلا مجنونا؛ نزع العلم المعلق في سور الشرفة؛ وطفق يلوح به؛ ومع ذلك لم يلتفتوا إليه  !

أشعل النار فيه، وبدأ يلوح به والنار تلتهم الألوان؛ الأسود فالأبيض؛ وقبل أن تلتهم النسر، وتأتي على اللون الأحمر؛ توقف كل شيء؛ الناس والعربات، وبينما كان الجميع يلتقطون الصور بهواتفهم؛ شقت الزحام سيارات الشرطة، والإسعاف  والمطافئ !

Succor

 At the terrace, he was yelling, calling for a plea of help, but no one answered, children thought he was insane, he plucked out the hung flag on the terrace fence and waved, yet they never paid attention to him. When burning it, he started to wave along with inflammable fire eating up colors, the black then white before devouring the eagle, then the red, all ended up at last, the entire people mob and swarmed vehicles. Whole those gathering were taking photos, the police cars, ambulance and fire fighting coaches penetrated the scene.
